SMS Consent

Acquatech, LLC Employee SMS Consent Process

Acquatech, LLC uses SMS/MMS messaging for internal employee field-service and on-call notifications.

How Employees Opt In

Employees are not automatically enrolled in SMS/MMS notifications.

Before an employee is enrolled, an authorized Acquatech, LLC manager or office administrator obtains the employee’s affirmative consent to receive work-related SMS/MMS service-dispatch notifications from Acquatech, LLC at the mobile number provided by the employee.

The employee’s consent is then recorded by authorized personnel in the company’s private dispatch system. The system records the employee’s SMS/MMS consent status and the date and time the consent was recorded.

Consent Script

When obtaining consent, authorized Acquatech, LLC personnel ask the employee:

“Do you agree to receive work-related SMS/MMS service-dispatch notifications from Acquatech, LLC at the mobile number you provided? Message frequency varies based on service activity and on-call assignments. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.”

The employee must affirmatively agree before SMS/MMS consent is recorded.

How Consent Is Recorded

After the employee affirmatively agrees, an authorized Acquatech, LLC administrator records the employee’s consent in the company’s private dispatch system by selecting the SMS consent checkbox.

The system records the date and time the employee’s consent was entered.
